Why a game beats a card
A card gets read once. A game gets played, replayed and shown to friends – and the person playing it is the hero of the story. Three ingredients make it personal: a first name, an occasion and a message of up to 140 characters. Claude weaves them into the title, the characters and the text. The message appears when they reach the goal, so they have earned it.
Specific beats generic. “Maya rescues her lost guitar picks on the way to the concert” will land better than “a game about music”. The more real details from your life together, the bigger the grin.
Picking a game for every age
| Age | Genre | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| 5–8 | Platformer, Mini or Small | short levels, clear goals, a favorite animal as the hero |
| 9–13 | Endless runner or racing with high score | chasing records and bragging rights |
| Teens | Story adventure or space shooter | choices with different endings, or action with a boss |
| Adults | Quiz about shared memories | plenty to laugh about, even for people who never play games |
| Grandparents | Quiz or story, Mini | calm pace, simple controls, lots of personal touches |
Little ways to make it feel like a present
- A QR code in the card. Turn the link into a QR code, print it and tuck it into a real card or tape it to a gift.
- The midnight message. Send the link right at midnight so it is the first thing they see on their birthday – their midnight, if they live in another time zone.
- In their language. Game text can be generated in 20 languages, so a game for a grandmother in Madrid or a friend in Tokyo speaks to them directly.
- At the party. Put the game on a tablet and pass it around. With the high-score extra the device remembers the best run – whoever beats it cuts the cake.
Not sure what to build? Give credits instead
A gift card lets them build their own game. It comes as 250 credits for €9.99 or 1,000 credits for €34.99, stays valid for 3 years and is redeemed in their account.
Privacy, built in
We only ask for a first name and a short message – no surnames, addresses or photos. Your game is reachable only through its link and stays out of search engines unless you publish it to the arcade yourself. When the game is for a child, their parents decide whether their name appears in it.
