How the scoring works
Every correct answer is worth 100 points, plus up to 50 more for answering quickly. Three right answers in a row multiply your points by 1.5, five in a row double them. The final round counts double. It sounds like a small detail, but it changes how people play: suddenly everyone leans in, nobody wants to break the streak, and the last question becomes the big moment.
After each question the game shows a short explanation. That turns guessing into learning and settles arguments before they start. Add the high-score extra (10 credits) and the game remembers each player’s best score on their device – a good reason to have one more go.
Writing questions people enjoy
Claude writes the questions for you. A clear brief makes them better. Professional quiz writers stick to a few rules, and you can put them straight into your idea:
- One question, one right answer. “In which year did the Berlin Wall fall?” works. “What was the most important year in history?” does not.
- Wrong answers that sound right. Every question has four options. If three are obviously silly, people stop thinking and start clicking.
- Easy first, hard last. An easy opener gets everyone on board; save the stumpers for when the competitive spirit kicks in.
- Mix question types. Numbers, places, people, “which of these is not…” – variety keeps the rhythm going.
- A pinch of inside jokes. Two or three questions about your group get the biggest laughs. A whole quiz of them leaves newcomers out.
How long should a quiz be?
A quiz holds between 3 and 20 questions. Five to seven are perfect for a birthday message; fifteen to twenty make a proper trivia night. A mini quiz costs 30 credits, a small one 80 and a medium one 200. Quiz has the lowest genre factor in the catalog, which makes it our most affordable genre.
| Occasion | Suggested size | What to put in the idea |
|---|---|---|
| Trivia night | 15–20 questions, Medium | categories, difficulty curve, a big finale |
| Classroom | 10 questions, Small | grade level and learning goal |
| Team meeting | 8–10 questions, Small | work topics, nothing personal about individuals |
| Birthday | 5–7 questions, Mini | first name and a message for the end |
Quizzes in other languages
You can generate your quiz in any of 20 languages – questions, answers, explanations and the in-game buttons. Teachers use it for language classes (“an easy quiz in Spanish for beginners”), families for relatives abroad.
