AI game maker

An AI game maker that designs, not guesses

Type one sentence, get a playable game – without the black box. Here is what the AI actually does in our builder, what it deliberately does not do, and how we make sure a game runs every time.

Make a game with AISpace Shooter · Small: price of 110 credits

You see the price before anything is built. If a build fails technically, the credits reserved for it are credited back.

One sentence in, one game out

Each of these started as a single line. Characters, texts, questions and scenes were designed by the AI.

Two kinds of AI game makers

Broadly, AI game tools work in one of two ways. Some ask a language model to write the entire game as code. That can be impressive, but results vary from run to run, bugs creep in, and every change means regenerating or debugging code you did not write. Others – like ours – let the AI do the design work and leave the running of the game to an engine that has been built and tested in advance.

In our builder, the AI plays the role of a game designer. It reads your idea and your choices, then writes a structured game description: who the hero is, what the obstacles are called, how fast the game moves, what each level asks of the player, which questions a quiz asks, how a story branches. Our engine reads that description and turns it into a game.

What the AI designs for you

  • title, tagline, intro and victory texts
  • heroes, enemies and collectibles, matched to our sprite library
  • pace, difficulty, enemy density and power-ups
  • quiz questions with four options and a short explanation
  • story scenes with choices and multiple endings
  • for world projects: whole economies with production chains, or cities with districts, missions and dialogue

Four checks before you see your game

  1. Structure: the description is validated against a strict schema – every scene, building and mission must point to something that exists.
  2. Playability: levels are generated so they can always be beaten; world maps are generated so every production chain works.
  3. Brands and characters: a filter catches protected names from games, films and TV, both in your prompt and in the AI’s answer.
  4. Content rules: no violence against people, no weapons in open-world cities, nothing harmful to children.

If a build fails any of these, it is not published and your credits are refunded automatically.

Transparent by design

Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires AI-generated content to be recognizable as such. Every game we build carries a visible AI label and machine-readable provenance data. The free plan runs on our fast model Spark; paid plans use stronger models for bigger games. Your inputs are not used to train AI models.

Prompting tips that make a difference

  • Hero, place, goal: “A robot searches an underwater lab for its lost gears.”
  • Audience: “for kids aged 7 and up” or “for experienced players”.
  • Tone: funny, spooky-but-harmless, festive, competitive.
  • Language: game text in any of 20 languages.
  • Leave out brands: describe what you love about a famous game instead of naming it. You get your own world in the same genre.

There are 9 genres to choose from. For an honest look at what AI can and cannot do in games today, read our guide what AI can do in games. Ready to try? Start with make your own game.

From sentence to game

  1. Set the frame

Choose genre, size, style and extras. Together they set the price.

  2. Describe your idea

Hero, place and goal in one sentence – plus an occasion and a first name if it is a gift.

  3. Confirm the price

Only now are credits reserved. If the build fails, they come back.

  4. AI designs, engine builds

The AI writes the game description, we check it, and the engine turns it into a playable game.

  5. Play and refine

Change anything in the studio chat. You see the price of each change first.

What it costs

Every game has a price in credits that you see before anything is built. This is what Space Shooter costs without extras:

How to get credits

  • Free: 40 credits a month. That is not quite enough for this genre (mini: 45 credits); quiz, runner, puzzle or story games fit.
  • Starter: €9.99 a month, 300 credits – enough for about 2 games at the Small size.
  • Creator: €24.99 a month, 900 credits – enough for about 8 games at the Small size.
  • Credit packs, no subscription: 250 for €9.99, 1,000 for €34.99, 5,000 for €169, each valid for 3 years.

Prices in euros including 19% German VAT. Chat edits cost extra – you see that price up front, too. Compare all plans →

FAQ

Which AI model do you use?

The AI. Depending on your plan and the size of the game we use different models from that family.

Who owns the game?

You can play and share your games privately on every plan; commercial use is included from the Creator plan. Details are in our terms.

Can the AI make mistakes?

Yes – especially with facts in quiz questions. Play your game once before sharing and fix details in the studio chat.

Can I make a game based on a famous franchise?

No. Characters and brands from other games, films and series are protected, so our filter blocks them and suggests original heroes instead.
