playing.company launches beta: build games by describing them – with the price shown before you confirm

The browser platform turns an idea into a playable game, shows the total price in credits up front and returns the credits if a build fails

6 November 2026 – The team behind playing.company launched the beta of its platform on 6 November, where people build their own games in the browser without coding: describe the idea, play the game, extend it later. The Claude API from Anthropic runs behind the scenes.

How it works: users describe their game, pick one of nine genres plus scope and style, and see the total price in credits before they confirm. If a build fails, the reserved credits are returned automatically. Finished games can be played and shared by link. Later changes are made by chat and cost 1, 8 or 25 credits depending on size.

Game text is available in 20 languages. Translations are produced by AI and may contain errors. AI-generated content is labelled (EU AI Act, Art. 50).

“Building games and earning money with them should be as easy as writing an email,” says Markus Wimböck, founder of playing.company.
