What teams use a custom quiz for
- Onboarding: new colleagues learn in a playful way who does what, where the good coffee is and what the key acronyms mean.
- Remote meetings: ten minutes of quiz at the top of a long call loosens everybody up. One person shares the screen and the others call out answers in the chat.
- Holiday party or summer event: a quiz about your shared year is a look back that bores nobody.
- Farewells: the person leaving gets a quiz about their years on the team, with a message at the end.
A format that works in a real meeting
Three rounds work best. Round one is easy general knowledge, so everyone scores early. Round two is about daily work – “How many characters does our longest project name have?” Round three is the year in review: milestones, moves, that legendary offsite. Write the structure straight into your idea and Claude follows it.
The quiz keeps working after the meeting. Anyone who missed the call plays later through the link and posts their score in the team chat. It works across offices and time zones because each person plays on their own device. A shared live leaderboard is not available yet, so plan a short moment for teams to compare scores.
What makes good team questions
- Estimates from daily life, such as cups of coffee last week, with answer options as rough ranges
- Company history: founding year, first office, first product
- Jargon: “What does the abbreviation … stand for?” – ideal for onboarding
- Shared experiences: where the last offsite was, what the party motto was
- A silly closing question where every answer is a little bit right
What it costs and which plan fits
A small team quiz with three rounds costs 80 credits, a medium one 200. To use it at work you need a plan with commercial rights, which means Creator (€24.99 a month) or higher. Larger organizations will find roles, single sign-on, EU hosting and a data processing agreement in the Business plan, which is billed net of VAT.
